This course provided alot of information in a very clear, easy to understand and follow manner. The tools that I was left with will provide to be valuable throughout my career in Project Management.

This course is fantastic! Though I am a skilled project manager; there are some good takeaways from this course; and Google Instructors talk about the best practices used at Google in a lucid manner!

While I appreciated the structured walkthrough of project management principles and tools, I found the course’s assessment style often failed to reflect the realities of real-world project management. Multiple-choice questions were sometimes overly rigid, relying on overly specific phrasing or semantics rather than assessing applied understanding. This became especially frustrating when several options were arguably correct depending on interpretation. As someone with real-world experience managing stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and resolving project challenges, I found the emphasis on producing overly prescriptive documentation somewhat unhelpful. In practice, much of this documentation evolves naturally from meetings, collaboration, and organisational needs — not as isolated paperwork exercises. I believe the course would be more effective if it emphasised strategic thinking, adaptive problem-solving, and communication nuance over rote document creation. That said, the exemplars and explanation of concepts were helpful, and I especially appreciated opportunities to evaluate and reflect on decision-making. I would encourage future iterations of the course to embrace more flexibility, prioritise context over technicality in assessments, and acknowledge the experience of learners who come from project-based roles in real professional environments.

This course was good, but the greatest struggle I had with all of these courses were the peer graded assignments. I appreciate that items were actually graded by a real person, but quite a few people were not able to grade on a basic level. They would grade 0s, rather than flag the submission if they could not access the document (most of the time, the assignment was there, they were just looking for an attachment rather than a link). I needed to resubmit a few assignments without making any changes, simply because a peer grader could not find my initial submission. If one grader is giving all points, but a second grader gives no points, an improvement might be that the submission gets flagged for a moderator, or automatically go to a third peer grader so that items will get graded quicker...just a suggestion.
Otherwise, I think the presenters, content, and worksheets were all very well made. I saved all of the documents, and look forward to potentially using them as things come up in work, or if I ever have a future career in Project Management.
