The lessons were easy to follow through and the explanantions were easy to understand. The hands-on practices also helped improve hands-on skills with the data analysis tools introduced in this course

As a beginner, I really appreciated the ease and pace of the course. The videos were explanatory, the reads weren't over-whelming, and the hands-0n activities were very easy to follow and comprehend.

The theory covered is not bad. However, there is a disproportionate imbalance between theory and practice opportunities. I was only able to follow along the lessons on SQL because of prior knowledge. The lessons on SQL were covered superficially and in haste. Don't think it even qualifies as a basic introduction. The quizzes are also poorly designed. Given that this was a course exclusively on 'preparing data', it should have been more practical. I felt a sense of fatigue while completing the course.

NOT for beginners. A lot of being talked at. ZERO hands on activities. You will need to google a lot of answers to pass tests because you are told "you'll learn this later on" and then a questions will pop up on a graded quiz. I despise this course, honestly and am only continuing so i can get this certificate. I legit wanted to learn data analytics but at this point my interest is dwindling. I learned more about SQL from a LinkedIn connection and their weekly newsletter. AND IT WAS FREE

It is not user-friendly. Plus the course content in video series is very less compared to how much a person has to read. If we have to read, then it is better we consult a book. I think the structure of the certificate can be improved by understanding how other course are provided by top rated universities where they force our learning to stick with us by making it more enjoyable. I am not enjoying the course at this stage and it feels like too much reading always.

I just really wish they would just teach us the material in a straightforward manner. There are so many elementary-school-level examples trying to make the content seem relatable and real-life it's actually a bit offensive. We're experienced learners, not children. We don't need long winded examples about country fair judges to learn that data can have biases.

The sections over SQL were not in order of complexity and I felt like I was just getting a handle on the basic queries when queries with "Distinct" showed up in the practices. This was frustrating because I wasn't taught that. And then the class went right back to the basic queries again. BigQuery is complicated and this course did not help very much.

I personally didn't like how the course/ module wanted us to set up accounts for items that are not necessary. I would be better to try and continue with basic spreadsheets as options to follow along with to continue learning vs. setting up more accounts that may or may not be useful in future jobs.

This course should be updated before any more people pay their hard earned money. Yes, software and applications are constantly updating and part of the job, is being able to adapt. That is AFTER you are at least vaguely familiar with it and know a little. Not as you are learning to use it.

The module about big query is really bad. I couldn't do it. The layout in April 2023 is completely different from the one that is showing on the video . As suggested on the discussion forums, I tried with chrome, firefox, internet explorer, and microsoft edge and it didn't work for me

Very informative and many things to learn but some of the module are simply hard to follow as the instructions are somewhat confusing and some links were unable to open and follow, and no one gets back to me after i asked them for help with the problem that i am facing.

Several of the trainings in week 3 felt like they were happening out of order. I would take one and be completely confused, and then the next training explained the thing I was missing in the earlier training.

The BigQuery part of this course was a big let down as i have to give my account details. Kindly do change that part by using some other tool or remove the part where i have to include my account details.

The discrepancy between the versions of BigQuery in the videos and available online was too much, and made learning needlessly difficult. Please update the videos in this course.

Some exercise are not working and the lack of getting deep in some topics, It looks like they only want to sell google products
