Dr.Charles R. Severance is one of the best teacher I've ever met. Despite the fact it was remote video course all my way of studying Python through this course was very fun and exiting. I've finished first part of the course and definitely going to continue!

this course is very helpful to me.i have learned how to write a python code and some of the information about python.i didnt need any changes on this course .whatever the information,assignment,quiz that this course have been given to me is enough to learn.

The instructor(Dr.Chuck) was slow and understandable for the first 4 weeks. But his pace changed and rushed a bit towards the last 3 weeks due to which i could not understand the topics a bit. Other than that is was an excellent course. Would recommend 10/10

I used to be afraid of learning python, but this course changed my mind. It's really easy to learn with humorous videos and interactive python programming. I finish this course within 3 days. Seeing the certificate is really inspiring. ; ) I will keep going.

Great course. I learned the basics of Python and was able to write simple codes and run them from the command prompt. The professor - Dr. Severance is a very cool teacher. Discussions and explanations are clear, full of examples and fun. Highly recommended!

An excellent course for those who's learning programming using the Python language. Although it was a littel bit too slow for me, as a CS student who just wants to add Python to his kit, I managed to finish it at my own pace thanks to Coursera's flexibelity.

Very well explained. It's perfect if you never did any programming.

However, if you did basic programming in school, it might seem a bit too easy.

In my opinion it could be a bit more challenging, especially on the assignments.

This is a great course for a python beginner, the instructor is super enthusiastic about the course and the material which is definitely passed to students and makes it easy to understand the explanation. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.

Had a great time and a lot of fun doing this class, it was a pleasure to be taught by Charles Severance as he was able to keep my attention all throughout the course even on basic and boring topics that I know had I studied myself would not have focused on.

This is very suitable to beginners who do not have any foundation of neither python nor programming. Having none relative knowledge I can still pass it within few weeks. The course is excellent! Highly recommend to those who want to starting learing Python.

I would say; I was a non-programmer till I enrolled my self in this course. After completing the exercises; I am now a confidant beginner. Now I can start my journey in Python in my area of specialization which is Open stack and Software Defined Networking.

The course help me dust up my memory on python. It helped me strengthen my foundations. The instructor has a special way of connecting with students. It was indeed surprising as he managed to pull this off even though the entire thing was completely online.

Very good and clear explanations. The exercises were kind of simple, but mostly effective and graded in a way in which one could see where their errors were. The instructor was also very good and helped the course be very interesting and not at all tedious.

I've taken other basic python classes but this particular one was very informative and engaging. The instructor, Dr. Chuck, is knowledgeable about the subject and conveys information in a way where learners easily understand (even without prior background).

I really enjoyed taking this course. I've been meaning to learn Python and this was a well-pace course that taught me the fundamentals of programming with Python. The materials were organized and thorough, and I was able to take it while I worked full-time.

I really like the way that Mr. Severance teaches and I will be looking for more courses that are taught by him so that I may take them and gain the knowledge that he is giving. I appreciate everything that he has done to make learning Python easier for me.

The course is fantastic. Dr. Chuck is fantastic. The only issue I have with this course is if there were a more assignments on every type of code being taught , I think it would have been more easy for me to understand it.
